“Amongst our customers for high-end 3D CAD Software are all the giants of the
Automobile Industry in Japan. These
companies have adopted Epiplex500 as the primary eLearning Authoring tool in order to create and deliver high skilled
knowledge to train and develop CAD Designers internally. The companies also use
Epiplex500 for global,
company-wide
roll outs of their ERP and SCM applications as
well. One of the world’s largest auto manufacturers
based out of Japan
had begun
to roll out CAD software implementation in late 2004. They needed a good e-Learning
authoring tool for
this software to deliver the advanced skills education that was
required. The need was urgent,
but difficult to fulfill.
It was very hard to capture accurately on such high-end CAD software.
In 2005, yet another large global auto company was faced with the same challenges. Both had tested a bunch of
commercially available authoring tools. After 6 months
of rigorous evaluation, Epiplex500 was chosen as the winner.
They concluded that Epiplex500 has rich features, more flexible, sustainable support. An adaptor was developed to
specifically enhance the CAD capture.
Since then, Epiplex500 has gained a very good reputation in the CAD field and has the leadership in Japan so far. We
depend upon Epiplex500 to enhance the features and
the capture accuracy so that we can continue to keep our
dominant position in Japan.”
