Epiplex500 has a brand new, intuitive, productivity-enhancing user interface as well as several new features.
The release will be issued to all new customers. Our existing customers can upgrade to this version in Q2 2010.
A few key features in the long list are:
New Epiplex500 Home User Interface
The new UI is very easy with an intuitive workflow. The home screen offers a single point interface to all Epiplex500 files
and functionalities.
The user can use the icons on the left panel to navigate the functionalities – Capture & Publish, Aggregate, EPSS, all
the Utilities and the collaborative authoring tool, ERMS. The home screen also has the facility of activating/deactivating
licenses.
Differential Image Technology
The innovative and unique use of Differential Image Technology reduces the size of most output files significantly, to
almost 1/5th of the file size, facilitating the ease of file transfer.
Improved features for Subject Matter Experts & Content Developers
The new annotations (rollovers, etc.) in the product and other features such as defining multiple confusion regions
allow for the inclusion of tacit knowledge and the creation of information-rich simulations and documents. Region
specific capture minimizes post-capture editing. The Preview feature makes the editing process convenient.
Other features
PDF password protection will secure your PDF documents with restrictions to read, write and print. Capture on dual
monitors will be very useful for customers in the computer-aided technologies such as CAD & CAM. Supports Windows 7.

of any process across mainstream MS Windows based applications. Along with rapid capture capabilities it also comes
with special technology to recognize actions performed in JAVA based applications, SAP, Green Screen, Oracle, Web
based, EPIC and generate documents based on the actions performed on these applications easily. It has an added
flexibility of creating documents in 16 additional languages other than English - German, French, Italian, Spanish,
Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Korean, Hebrew, Bahasa, Romanian, Hindi, Thai and Kannada. The new
